Presently, our production program is focused on manufacturing mica
retardation plates of the types listed below:

Type MA Mica Waveplate zero order cemented between two cover glasses.
For applications in the visible spectral range (400 nm to 700 nm).
Reference wavelength 550 nm (+/-10%). Parallelism < 3'.
Retardation tolerance lambda/20 @ 20°C.

Type MB Mica Waveplate zero order cemented between two cover glasses.
For applications in the spectral range of 400 nm to 2500 nm (specify
wavelength). Parallelism < 3'.
Retardation tolerance lambda/50 @ 20°C.

Type MC Mica Waveplate zero order without cover glasses.
For applications in the spectral range of 350 nm to 3500 nm (specify
wavelength). Retardation tolerance lambda/50 @ 20°C.
Direct AR/AR coating on mica available.

Surface Quality: 60-40 scratch – dig
Diameter Tolerance: +0/ -0,25 mm
Clear Aperture: > 85 % of central dia.

Type ML, like Type MB but Parallelism <10”: Available on request

Special (like standard but)  

Surface Quality: 40-20 scratch-dig
Retardation Tolerance: lambda/100 to lambda/200 @ 20° C.

Type MA plates with metric diameters are often available from stock.
